Organic, Riojan and gluten-free production

Currently, it is the only organic production and processing company with its own livestock in Spain. This is, despite the cost and obstacles it entails, our main differentiation and our great competitive advantage, says Delia Gil, company manager.

It has 12 workers and exports almost 70 of its production to Europe. In Spain they sell to large stores, but also to specialized stores and traditional businesses.

Star product: Without a doubt, Riojan chorizo, in its sweet and spicy varieties, answers Delia. Although as she herself explains when doing organic production, almost all of our products are quite specialized and unique.

Family and artisanal: Embutidos Luis Gil stands out for its family and artisan character, for the constant search for quality and innovation and for taking care of the health of its animals. Currently, they are committed to a project that links the product to their land, producing fresh sausages and meats, 100 organic from their own livestock. They sell Gran Reserva organic ham and shoulder, extra organic chorizo, extra organic salchichón, extra organic bacon, extra organic loin, extra organic brisket loin, organic pork pâté, butifarra, blood sausage and sobrasada.

Privileged environment: His pig herd lives in freedom, with extensive production, grazing slowly and in harmony with nature and man. This guarantees the quality of their products. The cabin is fed for a year with the farm's own natural resources, which favors fattening, at a slow pace, and this is; guarantees quality in the textures and aromas of its products.
Its production farm -El Encinar de Ocón- has more than 100 hectares of scrubland, covered by a leafy forest of holm oaks and oaks. A privileged environment, with a rich historical, cultural and archaeological heritage declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
