This past Thursday, May 30, the eighth edition of the La Rioja SME of the Year Awards, an award granted by the Chamber of Commerce of La Rioja together with Banco Santander and with the collaboration of the Government of La Rioja and Diario La Rioja that recognizes the work of small and medium-sized companies as generators of wealth and creators of employment in the performance of their daily work.

Luis Gil sausages, nominated along with 4 other Rioja companies for Best SME of the Year among more than 30 projects, obtained the Sustainability Accesit which Delia Gil collected from the president of the Chamber of Commerce of La Rioja, Florencio Nicolás.

This Accésit recognizes our company's commitment to sustainability and the environment. A recognition that Delia Gil thanked on behalf of the Gil family in a very emotional way, ensuring that «It is a shot of energy, an injection of vitamin that helps us move forward.».

Without a doubt, this award gives us extra motivation to continue improving every day in our commitment to the environment, organic livestock and production, and rural development.

The SME of the Year award went to the company SDI Digital Group, a company specialized in digital solutions.

The rest of the Accésits went to Aresol, in Training and Employment; I will advance in Internationalization and Digital Strategy SL, Órbitas in Innovation and Digitalization.

Now both SDI and the rest of the companies that have obtained the Second Prize will compete in the national final whose winners will be known in the first months of 2025.
